I am excited with anticipation as I prepare for my first journey to the continent of Africa, specifically the DRC. I am boarding a plane Sunday with a group of students from Point Loma Nazarene University. I will be documenting the students experiences as they team up with the local Congolese church to help establish a school in a remote village where the children currently have to walk three miles each way to receive any sort of formal education.
I hope to return with new perspectives and hard drives full of beautiful images and stories. Your thoughts and prayers would be much appreciated.
